Your physical activity path: remove the obstacles you put there

Fitness is a path you walk. Make sure you take your first step early on, removing obstacles. No more stubbed toes, or worse yet, shooting off your fitness foot.

Starting from scratch, for this discussion, means restoring your body. Restore your body by eliminating edible evils, the food and drink choices you’re making that wreak havoc on your body. Restoring your body allows you to better recognize hunger and feel full before you’ve consumed too much food.

Your walk will be completely changed and more enjoyable as soon as you remove all the obstacles.

Two common categories of obstacles are fake sugars and cravage.

Cravage Defined is a food designed to fuel cravings with little or no additional consideration such as good health, proper weight, or nutrition. The craving only exists because of food scientists in a lab. Its main purpose is to put money in someone’s pocket.

Whole foods that are still in their original form should make up the majority of your purchases. Every item you buy needs to make the purchase vs. bye cut before crossing the finish line, before crossing the scanner at the checkout.

Statistically, fake sugars will make you weigh more two years from now than you do now, and the cravage is a waste of budget at best.

You probably already know intellectually everything you need to do to be healthier. But you probably haven’t experienced how easy it is, and how good it feels, once you stop being stubborn and self-indulgent and hit the road of exercise all day, every day.

If you’re not already doing what you know you should be doing, then ask yourself why you insist on shooting yourself in your sports foot.

Choose to walk this beautiful path, making decisions that are literally at your fingertips, decisions that will propel you forward. Healthy choices will get you on the road to good health.

Bad food temptations can turn into turnoffs. You can condition yourself not to want junk food. Take these 2 steps every time you’re tempted to make a poor food choice:

• Remind yourself that you love yourself and deserve goodness and health; then he acts like you mean it.

• Remember everything related to the bad choice, such as heart disease and cellulite, and keep it in mind.

Stubbed toe hurts. Shooting yourself in your sport foot will slow it down and maybe stop it altogether.

Walking down a path without tripping actually feels good. Give you a chance.

The path is only difficult when you throw away your road map or try to walk in the dark without a flashlight.

Your map for your walk is your knowledge of what you know to do. Your flashlight will turn on and provide the necessary light each time you make the decisions you know you must make, the decisions that are within your reach and that you must make. Eliminating fake sugars and all the cravage is how you get new batteries for your flashlight.
