Enchantment Guide 1-450 – Quick and easy enchantment guide

Capable of being learned at level 5, Skills 1-300 are learned by enchanting trainers in any major city in Classic WoW. Above that, trainers will be in Honor Hold for the Alliance or Thrallmar for the Horde, both located on the Hellfire Peninsula. Grandmaster Training at 350 will be available to players at level 65 and will be learned from Dalaran, which is the main hub of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. For a list of all the recipes (or at least the cheapest ones to increase your level), it might be a good idea to get a more specific enchanting guide 1-450 for detailed information such as green (uncommon) recipes and the cheaper materials. to use to increase the enchanting profession level.

At very low levels, disenchanting rare or better quality armor and weapon items can also level up the enchanting ability. One important note in trying to level up your enchantment is that enchantments at low levels can almost never be sold and can sometimes even be declined when given away. To that end, enchanters end up enchanting the same piece of gear over and over again to increase their enchantment level. For example, if enchanting bracers with 2 extra strength is “orange” and grants an increase of 1 skill level, the enchanter would simply enchant their bracer multiple times until the recipe turned yellow. Once it’s yellow, casting the enchantment will not grant a boost, just a high level-up chance. If you’re following a step-by-step enchanting guide 1-450, you should take note of when a recipe “turns yellow” and no longer guarantees a level increase, as it will prevent wasting materials.

Leveling up your enchantment from level 5 is a good idea, as many of the rewards from quests or dungeon drops may not be an upgrade for you and will usually be sold to a vendor. But instead, as an enchanter, you can disenchant those items and then reuse the materials to increase your enchanting ability. This method of disenchanting also applies to items that are already “soulbound” on your character. Which would mean that if you currently have an item equipped but choose an upgrade for that item slot, you can equip the new item and disenchant the old one, thus gaining more materials. To learn more about whether or not an item is worth disenchanting rather than selling, I’d advise you first check with a proper enchanting guide for the prices of items you’ll get in exchange for disenchanting. Also, most enchanting guides will provide locations where enemies can drop rare recipes that affect how much gold gain you’ll be able to get once your Enchanting ability is maxed out.

One of the benefits of being an Enchanter is that at higher skill levels you will also be able to enchant your rings which provide additional attributes. Also, if you have more than one character, you can enchant Inscriptor Vellum to create enchanted scrolls that you can pass on to different characters.
