Travel options with bottle warmers

How do you choose a good bottle warmer if you want to use it for travel? Depends. There are some bottle warmers that you can use in a car and connect them to a cigarette lighter.

For example, The First Years Quick Warming Travel Warmer is a great way to warm baby bottles while traveling in the car. This model comes with features to prevent overheating and works well with all bottle types and sizes. I’ve used this one to heat different bottle sizes – 3oz bottles, 4oz bottles, 6oz bottles, and 9oz bottles and it works great with all of them. The unit is a “wrap-around” unit that heats bottles on the go in the car without the need for water or steam. It’s like a bottle sleeping blanket that connects to a lighter. They are very easy to use: put the rim of the bottle in the sleeve and adjust the velcro strap to fit perfectly around the bottle and then press the power button. Once you put it on, you can attach the bottle warmer to any cup holder in your car. If your family likes long car rides, the car will be flexible enough to accommodate the bottle warmer requirements of your trip.

The Sunshine Kids Warm N Go Insulated Travel Bottle Warmer that you can find on Amazon.com is absolutely fantastic. This insulated unit is made of neoprene which is elastic and has a very different type of heating system. Because it is so stretchy, you can wrap it around any size bottle. It connects to your car’s cigarette lighter and you can attach it to any cup holder or you can even hang it on the dash. The great thing about this bottle warmer is that it includes an indicator and a thermal fuse that prevents the unit from getting too hot.

The bottle warmer with bst reviews is the Dex Products car bottle warmer. Like the others, you can warm baby bottles in the car by plugging it into the car cigarette lighter. You can pop a bottle in when you start the car and when you’re ready to roll, you’ll have a bottle of water! Tried this one and I would probably say the unit works best in room temperature. If you are traveling by car, this product is amazing. Another thing about this product is that the bottles must be completely round for the unit to work very well. If they are not round, the bottle cannot properly contact the belt that heats the bottle. In fact, we use this for a few months when my husband and I travel during the summer. We were on the road and it was very convenient.

Therefore, all of the travel bottle warmers listed above are for warming cold milk bottles when traveling with your baby. You can use it in cars, SUVs, minivans, airplanes, or cruise ships. Some of them are self-powered, so you can use them in restaurants or if you are going to spend the day outdoors. I think it is important to realize that travel bottle warmers are not as efficient as household units that are powered by electricity. They tend to take longer to warm the bottles, and you can wait anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes, depending on the quality of the warmers. What can you expect to pay? I would say in the same range as the household, in the range of $ 10.00 to $ 35.00. You can find them used on amazon.com.

There are several that I didn’t mention, like hot pack travel battery heaters that contain thermal energy in the liquid chemical that retains heat until you activate it. There are also butane travel bottle warmers that you can buy. I think one of these products is from a company called Second Nature. Butane causes a small flame to generate heat to warm your bottles. You can buy butane refill cartridges. You can also buy a power inverter (not a converter) that converts your car’s 12 volts to regular voltage so your normal water bottles from home can be used in the car.

There are so many great travel bottle warmers – read Amazon and I’m sure you’ll find the one you need.
