Hindi comedy movies are the great mood lifter. Life is so busy, full of anxiety and stress, so everyone needs a source for relief and stress relief. That’s where Hindi comedy films come into play.
Most of the Indian directors always choose comedy over other genres as comedy has a massive audience to watch. Therefore, directors always earn more by making these movies. It doesn’t mean that making comedy movies is an easy task. If we take a closer look, making comedy movies is one of the most difficult tasks. “Khosla Ka Ghosla” is a comedy film in which a businessman named Khurana illegally seizes the land of a common man, Khosla. Therefore, in order to take back the land, Khosla’s son Cherry, with his friends and family, makes a brilliant plan to trick Khurana. It is worth seeing the different tricks they play with Khurana. Anupam Kher has a natural acting talent and Ranvir Shorey gives 100% of it in every movie he stars in.
Phir Hera Pheri
“Phir Hera Pheri” is one of my top funniest movies in which the three main characters Raju, Shyam and Babu Rao were tricked by a swindler when they were indebted to some gangsters. Thus, to return the amount to these mobsters, they discover a path that leads to hilarious consequences. Akshay Kumar’s comedic timing is so good that you end up admiring him. Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal are pretty good too.

A happy and lucky tax inspector named Bhushan accidentally wins a 25 lakh lottery and gets a chance to spend his vacation on a cruise ship. There, he meets a businessman, Ajit Talwar, who is evading an income tax raid by another tax officer, Shekharan. Bhushan has to be Shekharan’s friend. Now it’s worth watching what happens when they all meet up, it leads them to an isolated island with comedic consequences.
3 idiots
The story revolves around the three main characters named Rancho, Raju and Farhan who meet at an engineering college. All the scenes that are filmed on the university campus are quite funny and you can’t help but imagine yourself in that situation. In addition to its comedic plot, the film also establishes the fact that “you should do what you love” rather than what others tell you to do. A famous line from the film that became popular is “Success ke piche mat bhago. Kabil bano kabil. Kamyabi toh sali jhak maar ke peeche ayegi.”
Fas Gaye Re Obama
It is one of Subhash Kapoor’s best satirical comedies. “Phas Gaye Re Obama” is a story in which a bankrupt NRI returns to India to sell his heirloom house. Deeming him a wealthy NRI, an underworld gang kidnaps him for ransom. Now, he gets out of the gang and makes money is the whole plot of the movie. Worth seeing.
Do Dooni Chaar
“Do Dooni Chaar” is the story of a middle-class “Duggal” family who wants to make a living. Rishi Kapoor, who is a school teacher in the movie, finds different ways to do it. What opportunities knock on his door and how he seizes them is quite amusing. All middle class families can totally relate to this movie.

This is one of my all-time favorite movies out there in Bollywood. “Delhi-belly” is the story of three fighters Tashi, Nitin and Arup who are roommates. The plot and script of the movie are so funny and commendable that you can’t stop laughing. Also, Aamir Khan has a cameo in a song in the film.
KP
It is one of the must-see Hindi comedy movies. “PK” is the story of an alien on earth who loses his only device by which he can communicate with his planet. His innocence and learning attitude towards the cultures of India made everyone evaluate the true meaning of his religion. Rajkumar Hirani has made this film so beautiful and meaningful without hurting people’s feelings.
Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2
Three friends Anshul, Siddharth and anyone who realizes the dark side of love after getting into a relationship. They are sandwiched between their work and their love. The harsh realities of love depicted in Luv Ranjan’s film are so real and hilarious.

You should see this movie if you are a die-hard fan of “Ranveer Singh”. It is a comedy story like any other in Bollywood, but it is worth watching and admiring Ranveer’s acting and comedic timing. This movie did not do well at the box office but it is a complete “Paisa Vasool”.
Bareilly Ki Barfi
This story depicts a love triangle between the three main characters Bitti, Chirag and Pritam Vidrohi. Rajkumar Rao, also known as Pritam Vidrohi, has grabbed all the limelight due to his extraordinary acting skills and his comedic timing in the film. The transformation of him in the movie from an innocent underdog into a rowdy man is just amazing. I guarantee that after watching this movie, you will become a “Rajkumar Rao” fan.
Sonu Ke Titu Ki darling
“Sonu Ke Titu ki Sweety”, a film by Luv Ranjan describes the meaning of “What is true friendship?”. It is the story of two friends, Sonu and Titu, whose childhood friendship is put to the test when a girl, Sweety, enters Titu’s life. Sweety is not only looking for Titu’s money, but she also wants to end her childhood friendship.
Blackmail
It is the story of a middle class man and his struggles; Monthly EMIs, limited salary, sales pressure, and a lying wife having an extramarital affair. Money and the need for it make you do crazy things, that’s what it portrays. It is not surprising that most crimes occur due to normal situations that become uncontrollable. A hilariously clever movie.
