Tiger Tours in India – The Essence of Indian Nature

This member of the cat family is magnificent among all. Indian tigers, Panthera tigris tigris, commonly known as Bengal tigers. Their aura is majestic of all tigers and hence they are known as the royal Bengal tigers. As in other parts of the world, tigers are a protected species in India. India has many tiger reserves for the protection of tigers by providing them with the natural habitat. In the 19th century an estimate was made of 45,000 tigers in India. The current status published by the National Tiger Conservation Authority estimates that only 1,411 adult tigers exist in India.

This condition is due to the killing of tigers, as tigers have great medicinal properties, so the grade of tiger is very important. Although tiger skin is not in fashion, illegal smuggling of tiger fur and coats is not difficult for ruthless hunters. Even after government restrictions, various projects and limitations, the poaching of tigers continues.

Efforts are still made for the protection of the huge but magnificent creatures. Some examples can be seen in the national parks and tiger reserves, especially one situated in the Himalayan valley and the Sunderbans. The dense forests of Bandhavgarh National Park are surrounded by cliffs and forested Vindhyan mountains. Its plain is equally covered with dense and varied types of grasses. The place provides its own climate, atmosphere, water and food to each and every organism in this place through its recycling systems. Others include India’s first and best national park, The Jim Corbett along the banks of the Ganges River and in the foothills of the Himalayas. Kanha National Park where the famous wild hide is taken directly from the famous ‘Jungle Book’.

Moving west we find the national parks of Ranthambore, in the tall thorny bushes of Rajasthan. In the east and in the middle of the largest estuarine delta in the world we find the adventure, The Sunderbans, wherever you go you will feel the excitement, seeing these Royal Organisms.
