The Coolest Items in World of Warcraft and How to Get Them – Part 9 – Barov Caller Peasant

Barov’s Peasant Caller is a reward item for the Last Barov quest. This item is bound when you pick it up, so it can’t be sold and you can’t buy it in the AH. The quest requires level 52 and is part of a quest chain.

You get it for turning in Alexi Barov’s head. You can find Alexi Barov in the camp to the left as you enter the Tirisfal Glades from the Western Plaguelands.

The item has a 10 minute cooldown, so you’ll want to have it on your rotation cycle and not as your primary. Barov’s Peasant Caller will summon 3 peasants to fight for you. The peasants will be of a random race/gender. They’ll last around 20 seconds, have around 700 HP and only hit like 50, but they basically stop spell casters and scare people in duels.

A nice and cool thing you can use it for is to hide or hide in a low level area and watch all 3 of them rush in and take out one or even a bunch of lowbies. It will look like a random elite mob spawn.

You can also use it to give you time to heal, tack, bombard, or run away.

The great advantage of this summon item like all other summon items is that you can get it quite simply on your own, and this is a pretty good item if you don’t want to invest a lot of time to be able to ask for help when needed.
