Super Easy, But Incredibly Delicious 5-Ingredient Chicken Recipes

As busy as we are each day, we still want to prepare a decent and filling meal for our family. While we don’t all have the luxury of time to cook fancy dinners, we can choose to cook simpler recipes that save time and are just as good. If you’re short on time, try these easy yet delicious 5-Ingredient Chicken Dinner Recipes.

Easy broccoli and chicken casserole

What do you need:

  • 1 can of cheese soup with condensed broccoli

  • 1 package chicken stuffing mix

  • 2 cups diced cooked chicken

  • 1 cup broccoli florets

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded

Combine the broccoli cheese soup (do not dilute!), Cooked chicken, and broccoli florets in a large bowl. Transfer mixture to 11×7-inch baking dish. Prepare chicken stuffing mix according to package directions, then add to baking dish. Top with cheddar cheese. Cover and bake in a preheated oven (350F) for 20 minutes. When done, remove the lid and continue baking for another 15 minutes. Let cool for several minutes before serving.

Apricot Spiced Chicken

What do you need:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

  • 1/3 cup canned apricot

  • 1/4 cup chili sauce

  • 1 tablespoon of spicy mustard

  • Salt to taste

Combine apricot jam, chili sauce, mustard, and salt (you can season with pepper if desired) in a saucepan and stir over medium heat for about 3 minutes or until heated through. Coat a large baking dish with cooking spray. Place chicken on baking sheet and broil for 6 to 8 minutes per side, basting generously with hot apricot sauce for the last few minutes of cooking. Let cool and rest for a few minutes before serving.

Mexican Rice with Chicken

What do you need:

  • 1 can diced tomatoes with onion

  • 1 package Mexican-style rice and pasta mix

  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced

  • 2 cups cooked diced chicken breasts

  • 2 butter spoons

Melt the butter in a skillet and cook the rice and pasta mixture for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Add the tomatoes (with liquid), a little water (about 3/4 cup), and the contents of the rice seasoning packet. Bring the mixture to a boil. Lower the heat and continue cooking for 10 minutes. When done, add the chicken and jalapeno. Cover and cook until liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes.
