hidden secrets of prosperity

Is there a hidden secret to making money with a network marketing or multilevel company? Some people say “No, it’s just a matter of consistently working on the plan the company has given you.” While I don’t reject that advice, there are “hidden secrets” I’ve learned along the way that have made all the difference for me. Let me share one with you.

First though, let me define something before I get a reaction from you: a “hidden secret” I’m referring to is not something hidden out of sight. In fact, it is hidden in plain sight. But to find out, you have to change your perspective from what you’ve been taught growing up to what best reflects today’s reality.

Most of us learned that prosperity comes from having a good education that allows us to find a good job. Then eventually we could receive a nice retirement. So we can have a good death, which means our funeral is paid for in advance and we leave an inheritance for our children and the government. That’s not an inspiring bit of wisdom when you think about it!

Better educated people tend to earn more money over their lifetime than people with little education. But many people with little or no education earn exceptional incomes.

The education>work>retirement formula will generally provide a measure of success without great risk of failure. Comparing success to climbing mountains, the education>job>retirement formula at least gets you up the mountain and maybe even halfway up the mountain. But most have to sacrifice reaching the pinnacle of success by looking at the view safely from base camp.

Actually, it’s not even the base camp that people stay in since the average income is going backwards. Worse, many people, even with advanced degrees, can’t find a job. Considering how our currency is losing its value, anything we save for retirement has a good chance of being wholly inadequate in providing what we expect. So much for the prepaid funeral!

That brings me to the first “hidden secret” I learned. It was having confidence in a way I hadn’t grown up trusting. My first epiphany came as a result of this: For me, the “jobs” method was never going to lead to true success. It was a trap. I was better off working for myself.

I realize that my epiphany is nothing more than having a wonderful understanding of the obvious, to quote Howard Cosell. But such are the hidden secrets. And this was new to me. This gave me a reason to be confident as an affiliate marketer, blogger, and business person.

The beginning of my failure in this field was a lack of confidence in what I was doing. You can’t move forward when you’re afraid and don’t really believe you’ll make it to the top.

Empower Network is the company that I have finally settled with because they have provided me with constant and valuable training in blogging, getting traffic, copywriting and personal development. This greatly increased my confidence level because I knew the valuable education I was receiving would serve me well in any affiliate position or business I decided to start on my own in the future.

If you don’t trust the marketing program you’re involved in, or if you’re sitting on the sidelines watching other people earn income from home because you’re just afraid, look back at what you learned as a kid. We live in a different world now and opportunities abound for those willing to change their mindset. Have faith and reach beyond base camp. The summit is waiting!
